Wooden Yacht Company is situated in Bosham, close to Chichester Harbour in West Sussex. Boats and projects can be worked on in the workshop in Bosham, or at local marinas/boatyards. There is good access to the workshop from Chichester Harbour via Bosham Quay (see www.boshamyachtcompany.co.uk).
WYC was started in 2016 by Julian Osborne. Julian is a graduate of Portsmouth’s International Boatbuilding Training College, where he studied Marine Construction, Systems Engineering and Maintenance. Julian is also an Affiliate member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying, having completed the IIMS Diploma course in Yacht and Small Craft Surveying in 2012. Paddy Mirams – Owner of Ex RN Launch
“We asked Julian to take a look at our launch and help us with a plan to get her in better shape. We received a written quote and full plan of works. Work started when he said it would, and most importantly finished when he said it would. We were delighted with the finished result and the communication throughout the process. Highly recommended.” – January 2017BSC - National 18 Class Captain
James – Owner of 1957 Int. Folkboat ‘Clarna’
“Julian varnished the cockpit and replaced two topside planks on our Folkboat ‘Clarna’. The work was done promptly and very well – will contact Julian when there’s more work to do!” – November 2016
